Use your empty toilet paper or paper towel rolls to make small gift boxes:
Although recycling cardboard saves 296 litres of water compared to the production of 1Kg of the new paper, it still consumes water, so it is a great item to repurpose. To make a gift box flatten the tube first. They bend the ends together to make a closed box. Place your small gift item such as a gift card or jewelry into the box and tie the box with string or a ribbon to close the box. You can paint and decorate the cardboard tube or leave it for a more rustic look. (Idea and photo credit: OneGoodThingbyJillee.com)
