The feeling of helping others is often overlooked, as it gets taken over by the enjoyment of others. This feeling is important to acknowledge because it trains your brain to look for new ways to make someone happy. It has been scientifically proven that helping others is the secret to living a happy, healthy, productive and a meaningful life. When you help someone, it promotes physiological changes in your brain linked with content and happiness. Moreover, helping someone helps build cooperation, trust, and a sense of safety in the community. Giving without the expectation to receive is a gesture of affection and care. This doesn’t always mean tangible items but things like laughter, quality time and love. So, step out and give it to the world the best you have!
