Lead with kindness! Encourage and notice kindness in the classroom, and try to be more understanding. Teachers are naturally inclined to do this, but it is especially important during times of crisis. It can give both the students and parents a sense of calmness and hopefulness. Teachers are important role models for students, so if they lead with kindness it will transfer over to the kids who will then also emulate the same calm, confident and heart-led demeanor. This will also teach kids to grow up and become kindness leaders themselves for the rest of their lives.
