CONFIDENT
“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” -Dr.Seuss
What does CONFIDENT mean? The definition of being CONFIDENT is having trust in yourself and a feeling or belief that you can do something well or succeed at something
Being CONFIDENT is what we all strive for, especially with the things we struggle with. As you begin Day 21 of our KINDolutions challenge, CONFIDENCE will play a BIG PART in how you participate.
When you show others you are confident, you encourage others to have confidence in themselves. Although it may be hard, you can be an agent of change for many people, leading by example even during those times you are uncertain if you are doing things the right way. Part of being confident is trusting yourself and the more you trust yourself, the better quality relationships you will have. Being confident is often the push needed to do what is right, to stand strong in your values and be kind when it may not always be popular to do so. Confidence builds trust, trust builds compassion, and compassion builds kindness. They all work together as a partnership. A confident person will always stand for what they believe in, even when others may judge them. The thing to remember is, those who believe in you will always believe in you and your kindness, and their confidence in you creates a very special relationship based on trust and kindness.
At www.idareu2bee.com we believe that building confidence is the key to being able to stand up for your values and also for others when they cannot stand up for themselves. Your confident heart will always know that leading with kindness is what will build kindness in others.
Today we challenge you to do a KINDNESS ASSESSMENT. The assessment is simple and at times you may struggle, yet this is where your MIGHTY COURAGE kicks in.
Do not give up, do not give in because building your kindness superpowers will have you win!
Get Ready, Get Set and GROW forward with your GIGANTIC KIND HEART.
KINDNESS ASSESSMENT DAY 21
STEP 1
- Are you willing to practice being confident and acknowledging when you let self-doubt stop you from doing what is right and standing up for others when they cannot stand up for themselves?
If YOU ANSWERED YES, GREAT! Scroll down to STEP 2.
If YOU ANSWERED NO, stay right here and ask yourself this question.
Why are you NOT willing to practice building your confidence and acknowledging when self-doubt stops you from standing up for your values and what matters to you?
Think about what may be preventing you from practicing acknowledging when self-doubt stops you from showing kindness towards others. This is not easy to do, yet we encourage you to write your answers on a piece of paper or in your journal.
STEP 2
- Write on a piece of paper or in your journal all the times in the last 30 days that you doubted yourself when you wanted to do or say something kind towards someone, and why?
AND
- Write out how being confident can make you a kinder person.
NOW make today the start of practicing building your confidence and watch how you begin to notice that those self-doubts are all made up in your head.
Thank you for participating in the Day 21 2022 KINDolution challenge.
