“Self-worth comes from one thing – thinking that you are worthy.”- Wayne Dyer
What does worthy mean? The definition of WORTHY is having or showing the qualities or abilities that merit recognition in a specified way.
Thinking you are WORTHY of living your best life is not always easy and as we begin Day 29 of our KINDolutions challenge, being open to knowing that you are worth it will play a BIG PART in how we participate.
You can’t move past any feeling without first admitting to yourself that it’s what you’re experiencing. Everyone at some point has the feeling of being unworthy, of being a burden, weak and not important. That is your brain playing a trick on you, confusing what is the truth because you are worthy simply because you are alive on this earth. Ending the negative self-talk and beginning to allow yourself to feel and see your worth may not always be obvious but it is possible. Instead of focusing on what is not perfect or what you need to improve on, focus on your strengths, the qualities that are wonderful, and remind yourself of all the great things you have accomplished. We must be kind to ourselves just as much as we show others kindness. Often the best thing to do is ask yourself: “Would I say to someone I love and care for the thoughts I say to myself?” If the answer is no, then you must take a deep breath and release those thoughts. You are worthy of everything wonderful in life and it is up to you to accept how important you are.
At www.idareu2bee.com we believe everyone is worthy of receiving love and kindness, and when we are kind to ourselves we are kind to others.
Today we challenge you to do a KINDNESS ASSESSMENT. The assessment is simple and at times you may struggle, yet this is where your MIGHTY COURAGE kicks in.
Do not give up, do not give in because building your kindness superpowers will have you win!
Get Ready, Get Set and GROW forward with your GIGANTIC KIND HEART.
KINDNESS ASSESSMENT DAY 29
- Are you willing to practice identifying when you think negative thoughts about yourself and turn them around to say something positive to remind yourself you are worthy?
If YOU ANSWERED YES, GREAT! Scroll down to STEP 2.
If YOU ANSWERED NO, stay right here and ask yourself this question.
Why are you NOT willing to practice identifying when you think negative thoughts about yourself that impact your self-worth?
Think about what may be preventing you from practicing identifying when you are not being kind to yourself with your negative self-talk? This is not easy to do, yet we encourage you to write your answers on a piece of paper or in your journal.
- Write on a piece of paper or in your journal at least 10 things you like about yourself and why you are worthy of living a happy life.
- Write out how knowing you are worthy of great things can make you a kinder person.
NOW make today the start of practicing stopping your negative self-talk and witness how paying attention to how your self-worth grows when you are practicing positive self-talk.
Thank you for participating in the Day 29 2022 KINDolution challenge.
