Be a good neighbour! A lot of people are living alone during isolation so it is harder for them to find comfort at home, as there is little to no human interaction. A small thing you can do is check in on them and remind them that there are people that care. Whether it is saying “Have a nice day!” or you can ask for their phone number so that you can keep in contact and build new connections despite needing to socially distance. Also pay particular attention to your elderly neighbours, sometimes they need help getting groceries or other items, and if you are able to, you can get what they need for them and drop the items off on their front porch to limit contact as they are more vulnerable to getting the coronavirus. A simple reminder that you care goes a long way during a time like this.
