FORGIVING
“We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love.” -Martin Luther King Jr.
What does FORGIVING mean?
The definition of FORGIVING is the ability to be ready and willing to forgive with no bias against them based on your past experiences.
Forgiving is not always easy and as we begin Day 5 of our KINDolutions challenge, forgiving will play a BIG PART in how you participate.
The quality of being forgiving is one of the greatest qualities you can have. In your whole life, there will be a lot of instances where you will get hurt or feel betrayed by the people you care about. The ability to forgive will support you in healing and coming to terms with what happened. The thing to remember about forgiveness is that when you forgive someone for hurting you it doesn’t mean that what they did was okay. The magic in forgiveness is that it frees you from that experience and allows you to move forward with your life. One of the most powerful times forgiveness can be used is to forgive ourselves, especially for things that leave us with regret.
At idareu2bee.com, we believe that practising being forgiving will help you become a kinder and happier person because forgiveness allows you to release thoughts and feelings that bring you down. Forgiving yourself and others, especially when it is not easy, is the secret to having peace of mind, and is the perfect way to build your kindness footprint. When you are filled with the freedom that comes from forgiveness you can access the courage to contribute to making our world a kinder place to live. Never underestimate the power of your kindness; it is beyond anything you can imagine!
Today we challenge you to do a KINDNESS ASSESSMENT. The assessment is simple and at times you may struggle, yet this is where your MIGHTY COURAGE kicks in. Do not give up, do not give in because building your kindness superpowers will have you win!
Get Ready, Get Set and GROW forward with your GIGANTIC KIND HEART.
